No one, in America (or anywhere else) is going to go around having to be PC for terrorists. They resort to violence in an effort to impose their will upon others, enough already!

I do think it’s time WE protested their reaction too.

Further, to hear their “leaders” come out and speak today made nothing better – they are just as bad as the rest it seems – making demands for an apology that isn’t required. Are these people so dumb that they can’t analyze the Pope’s comments and realize that they TOOK THEM OUT OF CONTEXT and they were wrong to begin with? So then why do they require an apology?

Hurtful as this is, there was one Muslim taxi driver who was driving my mother to bingo and told her the victims of 9/11 “deserved to die.” Outrageous.

And your comments on acceptance are wonderful, but it’s an ideal. I don’t see people around the globe accepting each other, let alone Muslim and non-Muslim.

There are many Muslims that have a higher standard about ethics, etc then I do and many have a lower one.

One great guide to make it from birth to death is to bw non-judgemental. To accept people.

I hold that people who hold a public office have an obligation not to offend others. In fact, perhaps we all do.

The Japanese term for harmony is wa and we need more wa in this world.

If I was giving advice to a religious leader I would suggest that he/she visit the offender. Not make a public statement except to to wish them love.

The Pope and all followers of anything should set an example. Not a question of standards. Who sets the standards anyway.
